Britton Neubacher is a crisis worker turned botanical designer living and working in San Diego. Projects under her company TEND (founded 2007) aim to advance a sense of well-being by bringing life to green-starved spaces. Artistically, Neubacher explores the animating relationship between people + plants and the natural order/disorder of our complex partnership so that something more hopeful can be born between us. In addition to remixing green and growing things, Britt is a biophilia and sensory-driven wellness consultant, including trauma-informed and low-sensory design for both indoor and outdoor spaces. She works both residentially and commercially and participates in art showcases here and there.
