Britton Neubacher is a crisis worker turned botanical designer living and working in San Diego. Projects under her company TEND (founded 2007) aim to advance a sense of well-being by bringing life to green-starved spaces. Artistically, Neubacher explores the animating relationship between people + plants so that something more mindful and regenerative can be born between us. In addition to remixing green and growing things, Britt is a biophilia and sensory-driven wellness consultant, including trauma-informed and low-sensory design for both indoor and outdoor spaces. She works residentially and commercially, showcases in group and solo exhibitions, and thrives off collaboration. Britt Neubacher was Art Alive's 2022 Rotunda Designer at the San Diego Museum of Art and has contributed to many award-winning and well-celebrated projects throughout Southern California.
